“Strangulation: Too Often Ignored, Too Often Fatal”
BBGDF is hosting an Awareness Talk, in collaboration with Shalotta Sharp, to discuss domestic violence and strangulation. Although, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM)— these conversations must continue to take place year-round. Our Keynote Speaker: Shalotta Sharp, RN, SANE-P, serves as the Special Projects Coordinator for the MS Coalition Against Sexual Assault. Her topic for this event, "The Invisible Injury."
