February is recognized as Teen Dating Violence Prevention Month. Teen dating violence affects a significant portion of the adolescent population, with approximately one in three teenagers in the United States experiencing dating abuse before reaching adulthood. Given the prevalence and severity of this issue, educational programs and intervention strategies are essential. Increased awareness and knowledge can serve as effective means to prevent abuse. Attendees and guests are encouraged to wear orange and/or purple. Please continue to wear orange throughout the month of February in support.
