Eva Jones has dedicated her life to servant leadership, starting in her church by organizing health fairs, empowerment sessions, and domestic violence conferences to raise awareness in the Metro Jackson community. After raising her three sons, she returned to college and earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Mississippi College, deepening her understanding of domestic violence.

In 2010, Eva founded Butterflies By Grace Defined By Faith (BBGDF), a nonprofit aimed at empowering underrepresented voices and advocating for victims and survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence. Recognizing the community's need to address these issues, she worked tirelessly to confront the stigma surrounding domestic violence and provide vital support.

Through BBGDF, Eva has galvanized both volunteers and local partnerships to create a platform for those without a voice. Her commitment to educating and empowering survivors is evident in her outreach to schools, churches, and community organizations. She stresses the importance of self-esteem and healthy relationships, particularly for teens, and encourages them to focus on their education.

Eva has served on several boards and has received multiple accolades, including the National Coalition of 100 Black Women’s 2025 Candace Award and the NAACP President’s Award. Married to William “Bill” Jones since 1981, they have three sons, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

Eva continues to inspire change, emphasizing the need for women and teens to recognize their value and advocate for themselves and others. Her faith is her guiding force, as stated in Colossians 3:23-24.
